Can someone please explain to me why some people think that everyone owes them something?? I have a serious problem with this, these people take, take, take and never give anything back in return and see nothing wrong with this behavior because they expect whatever is being given to them, weather it be a gift, a job, a car, money etc.
Example: I work for a small family owned company and the bosses son thinks he is OWED everything from a paycheck on a Monday because he happens to be broke by Monday so instead of waiting until Payday which happens to be Thursday, he comes in on Monday and asks his father for money and his Grandmother who happens to write the checks just gives it to him.. To make matters worse we have also paid for his car to be repaired TWICE his Girlfriends car, his mothers car (who by the way happens to be my bosses EX wife), and this cycle just keeps repeating itself.. To top it all off this past Friday he was in the office and I was the only one here at the time, I caught him at his Grandmothers desk on her computer looking through our company books I said to him "I don't think that JimBob (names have been changed to protect the innocent) would be happy that you were going through the computer" his response to me was "I'm just crunching some numbers" WHATEVER so I leave come back from picking up my lunch and come Monday low and behold a check is missing, and Grandma said that Jerkbag (again changed even though I don't believe he's innocent) came by her house on Saturday and asked her to cash a hand written company check that had been made out to him and she didn't look to see who had signed it UGH COME ON Grandma Wake up.. your grandson has a PROBLEM .. A DRUG PROBLEM.. Not sure what I can do at this point except feel sick to my stomach that nobody see's this as a problem :(
Sorry for rambling, but I'm just about at the end of my rope with him, and you know what the worst part is, I can't do anything about it, I only work here ..

The First Post
Well after reading so many blogs for a year or so I was afraid that I wouldn't have anything to write about, because everyone seems to have lives much more interesting then mine LOL, but after much thought and since we have a wedding coming up, I decided to join the wonderful women that I read and give it a go.
I am a 39 years old about to turn 40 in one month, hence the blog name, I can't imagaine where my 20's and 30's went.. they say as you get older the days go by alot quicker, I guess that's true :( anyway I have a wonderful 13 year old son, who besides the fact that he hates homework and it's a fight everynight to do it, is a GREAT kid, he races motorcross which scares me half to death, I'm also scared about what is going to happen when he get's his license, I have huge anxiety about this if you couldn't tell already.
I am engaged to the love of my life, we have been together for 9 years and engaged for a year and a half, we are planning a destination wedding for May of 2012, so it's really not that much work on my part, he's a really hard worker and all around great man, he treats me and my son with the utmost respect and I couldn't ask for a better man to share my life with.
We also have two Cat's Beckett and Brady and 8 months ago got a new addition to the family a Chihuaua named TAZ and believe me his name fits him perfectly, going throught the trials of trying to train the untrainable dog LOL not fun by any means..
I hope you all enjoy this blog as much as I enjoy reading all of yours
