Entitled??

Can someone please explain to me why some people think that everyone owes them something?? I have a serious problem with this, these people take, take, take and never give anything back in return and see nothing wrong with this behavior because they expect whatever is being given to them, weather it be a gift, a job, a car, money etc.

Example: I work for a small family owned company and the bosses son thinks he is OWED everything from a paycheck on a Monday because he happens to be broke by Monday so instead of waiting until Payday which happens to be Thursday, he comes in on Monday and asks his father for money and his Grandmother who happens to write the checks just gives it to him.. To make matters worse we have also paid for his car to be repaired TWICE his Girlfriends car, his mothers car (who by the way happens to be my bosses EX wife), and this cycle just keeps repeating itself.. To top it all off this past Friday he was in the office and I was the only one here at the time, I caught him at his Grandmothers desk on her computer looking through our company books I said to him "I don't think that JimBob (names have been changed to protect the innocent) would be happy that you were going through the computer" his response to me was "I'm just crunching some numbers" WHATEVER so I leave come back from picking up my lunch and come Monday low and behold a check is missing, and Grandma said that Jerkbag (again changed even though I don't believe he's innocent) came by her house on Saturday and asked her to cash a hand written company check that had been made out to him and she didn't look to see who had signed it UGH COME ON Grandma Wake up.. your grandson has a PROBLEM .. A DRUG PROBLEM.. Not sure what I can do at this point except feel sick to my stomach that nobody see's this as a problem :(

Sorry for rambling, but I'm just about at the end of my rope with him, and you know what the worst part is, I can't do anything about it, I only work here ..
